[SPOILER ALERT: Spoilers ahead for Selling Sunset Season 5 Episode 3.]
Mary Fitzgerald to ‘control Christine’ as new managing partner
Mary Fitzgerald takes her new role as managing partner of the Oppenheim Group seriously in ‘Coming For All Your Coin’. Sitting at Jason Oppenheim’s desk, Mary shares her worries about her new role with Amanza Smith, who serves us the villainous Spice Girl in her dark green leather.
Mary’s main concern is the time her responsibilities as Managing Partner will require. Mary and her husband Romaine Bonnet already don’t have enough time to spend with each other because of her activities in real estate development. Apart from finding time to be with her husband, Mary says her “most difficult task” will be to “control Christine”.
Chelsea Lazkani says she’s ‘coming for all your money’
Later in the episode, sell sunset newcomer Chelsea Lazkani meets Christine on the beach with their babies. Christine fulfills her new partner in crime when she returns to the office.
“I expected the girls to have heart and decency,” Christine says. “They totally ghosted me, then they laughed that I wasn’t invited to a [Heather’s bridal shower].”
According to Christine, Heather didn’t invite her to the shower because of what she accused Heather and Tarek El Moussa of in previous seasons of sell sunset — calling the paparazzi to tell them where they would be.
Chelsea and Christine also discuss the best course of action to land an office at Chelsea within the Oppenheim Group. Together they plan a Caviar and Couture brokerage opening for one of Christine’s listings. Chelsea’s goal – to bring in a client willing to buy the lavish property. There, Christine will introduce her to Mary and hopefully get the Managing Partner’s approval.
“These b******s in the office have no idea what’s coming,” Chelsea told Christine. “Because I’m coming for all their money.”
Emma Hernan flirts with real estate developer Micah in ‘Selling Sunset’ Season 5 episode ‘Coming For All Your Coin’
Elsewhere in Beverly Hills, Emma Hernan meets Micah, a real estate developer and mezcal lover. “I had no idea this developer was a treat for the eyes,” Emma tells the cameras. “I never flirt with customers, [but] it’s hard not to flirt with Micah.
After visiting the property, Micah and Emma bond over their love of family, bi-coast, and entrepreneurial spirit. They plan to reunite over Emma’s mezcal and vegan empanadas, which looks like a business meeting that’s bound to turn into a date.
Brett Oppenheim and Chrishell Stause make a bet on “Coming For All Your Coin”
Chrishell Stause and Brett Oppenheim co-list $10 million in ‘New Blood’, the first ‘double-digit list’ for the sell sunset star. In “Coming For All Your Coin”, the duo work on a listing price for the house. Wanting the property to move quickly, Chrishell suggests listing it just under $10 million, but Brett asks him to “surprise himself one more time” and price it higher.
Despite winning a bet on whether or not she can make it through the dog door, Chrishell agrees to list the house at $10,595,000 instead of the suggested $10,495,000. After all, Brett can’t punish his clients for Chrishell’s “strange skills.” But he agrees to give her a better share of the sale.
Christine Quinn’s ‘inappropriate’ gesture at Heather Rae El Moussa’s bridal shower
Christine wasn’t invited to Heather’s bridal shower, but that didn’t stop her from making her presence known. At the end of the shower, Heather is summoned outside to receive a giant arrangement of heart-shaped roses. “I’m so glad you found your missing piece,” Christine’s note read. The women describe the gift as “intense”, “inappropriate” and “calculated”.
“That giveaway was to make sure her presence was known when she wasn’t invited,” Amanza told the cameras. “Christine is a narcissist and probably the worst human I’ve ever met,” Emma says separately.
Confused by the gesture, Heather isn’t quite sure how to feel. “The flowers were over the top, but it’s Christine,” Heather said later. “It kind of ruined the end of my party.”
Later, Christine invites Heather to a sit-down meeting. Christine arrives late, setting the tone for the tense conversation to come. Will the two be able to overcome their differences? Find out in the next episode.
