Skopje stock exchange blue chip index rises in the trading week ended January 5
SKOPJE (North Macedonia), Jan. 5 (SeeNews) – The blue-chip MBI-10 index of the Skopje stock exchange closed at 6,206.24 points on Wednesday, the last trading day of this week, up about 1% from its closing value of 6,153.48 points on December 30, according to stock market data.
The stock exchange was closed on December 31 and will be closed on January 6 and 7 for the Orthodox Christmas.
Turnover on the official Macedonian Stock Exchange (MSE) market fell to 76.8 million denars ($ 1.4 million / ⬠1.2 million) in three trading sessions this week, from 103.7 million denars in four trading sessions last week.
Komercijalna Banka [MSE:KMB] contributed the bulk of MSE trading revenue this week, of 36.98 million denars, as 3,090 of the lender’s shares changed hands in a total of 103 deals.
The MSE’s OMB bond index closed at 133.62 points, unchanged from its closing value on December 30.
